Our comprehensive integration suite on TouchStore 365 offers a multitude of benefits at no additional cost.
Script Queue: Enhance efficiency by adding scripts to the queue directly from the POS screen. This feature optimizes the workflow from the front of the shop to the dispensary, eliminating unnecessary notepad writing and reducing trips to the dispensary. The Staff at the POS screen can:
- Access the patient medication record
- Select the drugs that the patient wants today
- Set a time that the patient would like to pick up the script
- Send the script electronically to the dispensary
- Track the script’s progress from the POS screen.
Script Locator: This unique feature allows you to assign completed scripts to specific locations (e.g., shelf, drawer or fridge), enabling front-of-shop staff to quickly locate and retrieve them. This significantly reduces the time spent searching for scripts.
Script Collection tracking: As soon as you scan a prescription bag label on our POS
- The prescription price is displayed on the POS screen, enabling payment.
- Payment records displayed on POS in summary or detail.
- The patients PMR gets updated with the payment made.
- With Rx365 and Retail365 integration, the POS easily tracks DPS and GMS script payments. This ensures clarity and accuracy in script payment records.
- The prescription record is time stamped at the time of collection thus ensuring the pharmacy can see when scripts were picked up.
Stock Management: We allow the movement of stock between the OTC counter and the dispensary and vice versa, through our unique function built into the POS software. Stock gets adjusted at cost and an adjustment record created on both the Rx and Retail systems.
VAT on Sales Calculator: There is a universal problem in community pharmacies concerning the correct calculation of VAT on sales. The result is that pharmacies are invariably overpaying VAT to revenue because of inexact calculations of the VAT due on sales. In many instances this overpayment is considerable.
For pharmacies who use both the TouchStore Rx and Retail systems, we have now developed a method to address this issue. We have added a menu option to TouchStore Rx which also links into the Retail 365 system and calculates the exact amount of VAT due on sales. The sales under the separate VAT rates are extracted from the three sources of income in a pharmacy:
- TouchStore Rx
- Retail 365
- The PCRS claims data.
When the application is run, the data is extracted, then processed, and the VAT on sales report is produced. This is a detailed report, giving the VAT due, and outlining each aspect of the VAT on sales incurred by the pharmacy for the selected period.

When you purchase an Analysis licence and have both of our products the data from both Retail 365 and Rx 365 is available from a single Analysis 365 licence.
